+ Bring in 3 ideas with supporting thumbnail sketches to discuss in Thursday’s class and 10-12 images (found and your own photography) for the next class

+ Continue to develop 3 options, photographing and collecting found content
+ Remember to consider the following while you are collecting content…
– The Message, What are you trying to communicate with your audience?
– Narrative, How will you communicate your message?
– Meaning and Purpose, Why is this particular message important?
– Fundamental design elements and principles (format, picture plane, figure / ground, shape, line, point,
scale, hierarchy, balance, symmetry / asymmetry, unity / variety, and rhythm)
– Color Theory and the principles of Color Interaction, i.e.
Color Relationships – monochrome, analogous, complementary, triad, tetrad, neutral, and random
Attributes of Color – hue, chroma (saturation), value (lightness)
