ACCESS AND SUPPORT FOR INSTALLATION
What installation support will be available?
There will be two installers on-site during installation to assist with mounting, hanging, and general installation needs.
Students must arrive with:
+ A clear installation plan
+ All necessary and project-specific hardware
+ Any specialized tools required for their work
Installers are there to support — not to design or problem-solve unprepared installations.
How will we know where our work will be located?
Once all works are finalized, the exhibition committee and faculty will collaborate to curate placement within the space. Decisions will be made based on spatial relationships, flow, and conceptual integration.
Is there a floor plan available?
Yes. A downloadable floor plan of the exhibition space is available: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/13ujBhiVcFddggysnLM-Jk8RLlfyi4O3e?usp=sharing
What installation furniture or equipment is available?
A list of available furniture and display supports (plinths, pedestals, etc.) will be shared shortly.
Can I install artwork on the patio or extend into the park?
Proposals to install work on the patio or extend into the park may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
If you are interested in proposing an outdoor or extended installation, please submit your idea in advance so it can be assessed for:
+ Safety
+ Accessibility
+ Durability and environmental impact
Approval is not guaranteed and must be confirmed prior to installation.
EXHIBITION MATERIALS
Will my work have a wall label?
Yes. Each students work will be accompanied by a label including:
Didactic Text (maximum 200 words)
Artwork Tombstone:
+ Title
+ Medium
+ Dimensions
+ Year
Submission guidelines and deadlines for label text will be shared separately.
Do I need to be present during installation?
Yes. Students are expected to be present to install their own work and collaborate with installers and faculty as needed.
Can I make changes after installation?
Minor adjustments during installation days may be possible. Major changes after installation is complete must be approved by faculty or the exhibition committee and may not be feasible.
What happens after the exhibition closes?
De-installation is scheduled for Friday, May 1, 2026 (TBC).
Students are responsible for removing and collecting their work during the designated de-installation period.
