Great work this semester!
Below you will find instructions on what to present how to package/deliver your final projects.

Please note that your presence and participation at the Exam is mandatory.
OUR FINAL EXAM IS ON Tuesday, May 12th from 3:00-6:00pm, and will be held at 110 Warrant St, Fourth FL Room 427. Please do not be late.
During our Exam, each of you will showcase your final, bound publication and will get to explore everyone else’s Editorial’s as well. Please share a little about your work and the Editorial project experience, by being ready to answer the following questions during the Exam: SEE below.
COURSE FINAL DELIVERABLES
• Printed & Bound Editorial: Final Editorials, fully printed, cut, and bound to be submitted at our Exam May 12th from 3:00-6:00pm.
• Your Editorial Abstract on 8.5″ x 11″ Paper to be presented alongside your Editorial.
• Editorial Reflection Questions: Be ready to share your thoughts during the Exam.
+ What was the most revealing moment in the creation of your Editorial – what inspired your concept or where did it come from?
+ What aspect of your Editorial are you most proud of?
+ What were your biggest challenges, and how did you overcome them?
+ If you had to do it again, what would you do differently?
+ What have you learned about yourself as a designer in the process of developing your Editotial?
Digital Deliverables:
• PDF Presentation: Built in InDesign & submitted via shared Google Drive:

Presentation must include:
1. Text from your editorial’s Introduction and / or Abstract
2. Design Rationale: Type, Color Palette, Concept (caption your decisions)
3. Grid (share an image, and caption your decisions)
4. Original Imagery (caption your decisions)
5. Photographs of your printed/bound editorial
6. 2 – 3 mocks-ups of your editorial (mockup templates sources)
7. Screen-Based Project — Ideation & Digital Mockups

• Digital Editorial
* A high res final editorial PDF: Cover + Guts (Compressed in Spreads).
* E-book (find templates on issue, flipping book, flip snack, etc.)
Please:
* Double check the pre-production checklist to assure that you have included all project components.
* Proofread, spellcheck, have a peer read over your work, and use Grammarly. (It’s free!)
* Cite your references! There are online resources to assist with this, such as the Citation Machine.
• Screen-based Media Project
(Include the below elements about the Screen-based project within your PDF Presentation.)
For Interactive:
* Brief Introduction
* Site Map
* Mockups of your design (as appropriate)
For Time/Motion:
* Brief Introduction
* Storyboard
* Mockups of your design (as appropriate)
All digital deliverables must be submitted no later than Tuesday, May 12th at 11:59pm.
Create a folder (in your folder on our shared Google Drive) name it using your name using the following naming convention: “FirstLast_Final Deliverables”
Within this folder, organize all of your work, and name each file using the naming convention above.
For example:
FirstLast_Final Deliverables (folder name)
Inside this folder:
– FirstLast_PDF Presentation (includes both projects: Editorial and Screen-Based as described above)
– FirstLast_Digital Editorial
