    Reasons why I chose steam.

    1. Unlike many modern websites that are purely minimalist, steam embraces high information density. Despite this the design is still nice to look at and easy to navigate.
    2. Steam creates a personalized narrative for every user through its Discovery Queue and Tagging System.

Here are a couple websites I admire for their narrative qualities and usability:

The Nike website has a minimalist aesthetic. The website features a navigation bar at the top, making it easy to find different Nike products. When you click the navigation tabs, it displays different Nike clothing in a grid. The tabs all have a grid layout that is easy to navigate. In all, it is highly usable and focuses on user experience. The Impossible Foods brand focuses on creating meat products from plant-based ingredients. The website features bold typography and vibrant colors, making it visually appealing. The narrative quality is the red color palette meant to represent meat.

I chose Canva because of how it balances aesthetics and usability as a website thats meant for creatives. While there are a lot of design elements on the pages, it maintains a simplicity that allows for easy navigation and a straightforward narrative.

I also chose Tirazain, which serves as a digital archive and library to preserve Palestinian embroidery. It takes into account users who speak Arabic or English, making it accesible to a larger audience. It also has a straightfoward narrative, its clear what the website seeks to achieve and why. Design-wise, its very minimal which allows for the complexity of the pattern it showcases to standout. Overall, its a website I enjoy skimming through and admire.

Not only is Ecosia an excellent search engine but it functions as an eco-friendly alternative to commonly used search engines such as Google, Bing, Safari, or Yahoo.

The first website showcases a collection of different types of bikes while also being interactive

    https://theuselessweb.com/

This one just jumps to different types of other websites created that are “useless”
