Each of you will be sharing three proposed capstone directions. (See below for presentation components, presentation directions and requirements.)<\/p>\n<p>Based on the feedback and critique you receive, we will collectively help you choose one direction to develop over Winter Break.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 <br \/><strong>For all three (3) of your potential Capstone concept directions, please present the following for each:<\/strong> <br \/><strong>+ 100-word abstract<\/strong> This should include: <br \/>\u2013 description of your topic and point of view (the &#8220;what&#8221; and the &#8220;why&#8221; or your point of view) <br \/>\u2013 identification of your target audience and project goal <br \/>\u2013 discussion of your three (3) potential mediums, and why you have selected them (affordances)<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>+ Proposed working project title<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>+ Preliminary Research<\/strong> <br>\u2013 Academic Research <br>\u2013 Visual Research<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>+ Project management plans<\/strong> for moving forward <br>\u2013 How will you access your audience? <br>\u2013 Will you have unique production specifications? <br>\u2013 What Design Research Methodologies do you plan to use? (Qualitative, Quantitative, or both?) <br><br><strong>Capstone PDF Presentation Specifications<\/strong>: <br>+ Letter sized (8.5&#8243; x 11&#8243;) <br>+ Landscape format <br>+ Title page (full name, date, professors) <br>+ Index page (title of each concept direction) <br>+ Thank you page (last page of presentation)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each Student will have approx. 10 minutes to present including feedback and discussion so we will need to move quickly and efficiently through both days. *Please plan to speak for only 2-3 minutes to allow for as much time as possible for feedback and discussion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Reminders:\u00a0<\/strong><br>+ We will meet on Monday and Wednesday from 4 pm &#8211; 6:50 pm as usual in our classroom<br>+ Present your Capstone Ideation in a PDF presentation format, <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/drive\/folders\/1y2N63GsLUnoamNRkryKaDDUJoHjj2Z4a?usp=sharing\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/drive\/folders\/1y2N63GsLUnoamNRkryKaDDUJoHjj2Z4a?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">upload your Ideation Presentation here <\/a><br>+ Plan to speak only very briefly (2-3 mins) to leave as much time as possible for feedback and discussion <br>+ Be prepared to take notes as you will use this feedback to further develop\/refine your Capstone direction and continue your work over Winter Break. (You may want to ask a classmate to take notes for you.
