There are a couple of times that we’ve allocated to review/touch base on your progress. It is important that each student is proactive about this work and manages their time responsibly to include its advancement. Final deliverables include this work. Key advancements: Adding new work to your online and pdf portfolio and completing and printing your business and ‘takeaways’.
Phase I: Ideation & Research
December 2024 – January 30, 2025
Ideation & Research will consist of formulating the conceptual framework for your project, identifying a larger narrative “theme” or story, and the development/collection/creation of content and other raw materials.

Once a theme is defined, build and shape your content and ideate how you will represent your narrative(s) visually or build your campaign. Investigate, sketch & rationalize how the medium is appropriate to and reflective of your story. Exploit the unique affordances of each medium.
